Only When I Laugh (1981), The Final Terror (1983), Knightriders (1981)

Hated this. If you've ever been in a close relationship with an addict, this will hit (too) close to home. Actress mom gets out of alcohol rehab, teen daughter moves in an demands a relationship, mom is an emotional disaster and can't handle living life to any functional degree. Unpleasant.
James Coco is great, and keep an eye out for a cameo from very young Kevin Bacon (!).

Daryl Hannah! Joe Pantoliano! Both near the beginnings of their respective careers in this wreck of a horror movie. Killer stalks camping teens (sound familiar?)... yawn. Nothing interesting here beyond the young actors (including Adrian Zmed).

Interesting movie! The story of a modern Renaissance group that tours California (they joust on motorcycles, not horses), it features a young Ed Harris (with hair!) as King William their likely-insane-yet-thunderously-honorable leader who seems to really believe he is somehow a medieval chivalrous knight. Tom Savini is fantastic as his rival in the group, Morgan. And the rest of the cast is nicely rounded out by great actors that really complement each other.

Eventually a lot of conflict rises, as King William's leadership style proves ... unsustainable. Yet there are hints throughout that he is actually correct in all his opinions - it is just and righteous to be truthful and forthright in all one's actions. The group splinters, and the narrative grows more interesting. I guarantee you've never seen anything like this. Definitely worth watching, very unique. I really enjoyed it.
